Intermittent Wiper Mod
Since Ford decided the ZX3 didn't need variable speed windshield wipers, we ZX3 owners have no choice but to order the 6 speed wiper switch and swap out the stock unit for the good one. Simple enough, takes about 3 minute, maybe 5...

Tools required: Flathead screwdriver, 10mm socket or wrench.
Time to complete: 5 minutes

Instructions:
- Using the 10mm socket, disconnect your car's battery terminals to prevent any electrical shock worries...
- Using the flathead screwdriver, press the small tab on left and right side of the steering column cover, to release the cover and expose the stock wiper switch.
- Press and release the small tab that secures the stock wiper switch.
- Pull out the stock wiper switch, and disconnect the electrical connector.
- There is a small tab / clip on top of the connector, release it first.
- Connect the new replacement wiper switch to the electrical connector.
- Install the new replacement wiper switch to the steering column where the stock switch was removed.
- Replace the steering column cover, snapping the cover back in place.
- Reconnect the car battery.
- Enjoy your new variable speed intermittent wiper switch. :)
