If and when you get a new body kit for your Focus, one of things you'll be doing is removing the rear bumper cover, to put on your new rear bumper section of your kit. myFordFocus.com has not done this yet, but hopefully in the spring of 2002 we will :) If anyone out there has done this, or is planning to do it soon and you have pictures, let me know with an email to webmaster@myFordFocus.com.

All Models Remove the upper push-pin retainers. Raise and support the vehicle. Detach the bumper cover from the fender splash shield (both sides). Remove the bolt. Detach the bumper cover from the fender. Remove the nut (one each side). Remove the clip (one each side). Remove the lower push-pin retainers. Lower the vehicle. 4-door and 5-door Remove the nut (one each side). Detach the loadspace trim to access the nut. Remove the rear lamp cluster. Remove the nuts. Detach the electrical connector. Remove the push-pin retainers (two each side). All Models Remove the bumper cover. Detach the bumper cover. Disconnect the fog lamps electrical connector (if equipped).
