Billet Aluminum Pedal Covers

These are OBX race inspired foot pedal covers, that fit over the stock pedals using a combination of securing clamps and screws. The securing clamps are part of the cover(s) that tighten down onto the stock pedal. Each cover has pre-drilled holes, which allow you to also secure the covers to the stock pedal using screws. Which means you have to drill your stock pedals. Not a big deal. They are available for all manual or automatic models. The foot rest is sold seperately from the pedal cover kit. Tools required: Drill, 3/32 drill bit, phillips heaad screwdriver.

Time to complete: 20 minutes

Cost: Approx. $55(cost of the foot pedal cover kit and foot rest)

Instructions:

Gas Pedal Cover

  1. Place the cover over the stock pedal.
  2. Secure the two clamps.
  3. Use the drill to pre-drill at least one of the screw holes.
  4. Finish securing the pedal using the screw(s).
    • Note: I only used one of the screws, the top one was to hard to reach using my drill.

Brake & Clutch Pedal Cover

  1. Place the cover over the stock pedal.
  2. Secure the four clamps.
  3. Use the drill to pre-drill the screw holes.
  4. Finish securing the pedal using the screw(s).
    • Note: My kit for my automatic did not have screws for the brake pedal cover. The cover had holes for screws, but I found that the four clamps held the cover in place just fine.
    • Additional Note: The brake cover pedal for the automatic is much wider than the stock pedal. Be careful not to get it to close to the gas pedal. If when you test drive it, you find your foot tends to hit the gas and brake at the same time, you might want to adjust the brake pedal cover to the left some.

Foot Rest

  1. Place the foot rest in position.
  2. Drill both holes.
    • Note: The carpet and padding is pretty think, no need to actually hit metal here.
  3. Secure with screws.
    • Note: The screws are not long enough to penetrate through the carpet and padding and actually hit metal. After several weeks of driving mine is still in place, so you should be fine. If not, a longer screw might be a good idea.
