A/C compressor always runs in defrost mode when temperature is above 40 degrees Fah. to dehumidify interior aire and reduce fogging.

Close inner panel vents and open outer panel vents as needed to provide dry air to side windows. If not needed for comfort or fogging, A/C may be turned off to save fuel.

Temporary Outside Odor

  • Activate recirc button to avoid outside odors.
  • Switch back to outside air if fogging occurs.
  • Limit recirc operation with multiple passengers to 15 minutes to avoid stale air.
